New digital tax system for entrepreneurs.
A new pilot project launched in Tajikistan by the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan aims to simplify tax accounting for individual entrepreneurs. The new framework has already been officially registered with the Ministry of Justice.
What’s new:
• 3% tax rate instead of 6% — for entrepreneurs using digital tools in their business.
• Automatic calculation — the system calculates taxes automatically, reducing the risk of errors.
• 1% cashback — when paying via the Unified QR code, 1% of the purchase amount is refunded.
What remains unchanged:
• Personal transfers between individuals are not taxed.
